Professional Power Washing in Dublin
Base provides professional power washing for driveways, patios, paving, concrete, yards and commercial properties throughout Dublin and selected surrounding areas.
Our service is designed for customers who value an experienced team, professional equipment and a thoroughly finished job.
We arrive fully equipped, work efficiently, remove the loosened dirt and debris, and rinse surrounding surfaces affected by the cleaning process before we leave.
Power Washing Prices
Our minimum charge for a standalone power washing job is:
From €285 + VAT
For existing customers, or where power washing forms part of a larger package of work, smaller power-washing jobs may be available from:
€250 + VAT
Our minimum charge reflects the dedicated equipment, transport, water supply, preparation and detailed finishing required for each job.
A Dedicated Professional Setup
We arrive with a dedicated, fully equipped power-washing trailer containing everything required to complete the work efficiently and to a high standard, including:
Professional pressure-washing equipment
Hoses and accessories
Brushes, shovels and cleaning tools
Protective footwear and work equipment
A 1000-litre onboard water tank
We can also carry an additional 1000 litres of water in the van. Where more water is required, we can top up from the customer’s outdoor tap.
This organised setup allows our team to begin work quickly and maintain a reliable water supply throughout the job.
What We Power Wash
Our power-washing service is suitable for:
Driveways
Patios
Paving slabs
Block paving
Concrete yards
Paths and walkways
Courtyards
Commercial forecourts
Car parks and larger paved areas
The most appropriate pressure and cleaning method will depend on the surface, its age and its condition.
A Thoroughly Finished Job
Our work does not finish when the pressure washer is switched off.
After cleaning, we collect and remove the loosened dirt, moss and other debris produced by the work. Nearby walls, doors and other surfaces affected by splash are rinsed down, and the working area is left tidy.
Our experience, preparation and organised setup allow us to complete many standard jobs efficiently while maintaining a consistently high standard of finish. Larger, heavily soiled or more complicated areas naturally require additional time.
Block Paving, Weeds and Re-Sanding
For the best result, established weeds should be treated before block paving is power washed.
Power washing removes visible weeds and loose growth, but it does not reliably kill the roots. Where weeds are present, Base can carry out weed spraying in advance as an additional service, allowing sufficient time for the treatment to work before the power-washing appointment.
Once the weeds have been treated, power washing removes the dead and loose growth along with moss, dirt and other surface contamination.
After the block paving has been cleaned and allowed to dry completely, kiln-dried sand can be brushed back into the joints where required. Re-sanding helps stabilise the paving and can slow the return of weeds, although it will not prevent future growth completely.
Treatment for Algae Staining
Some paving slabs and concrete surfaces retain green, black or discoloured algae staining even after the loose surface growth has been removed.
On suitable surfaces, we can apply a specialist post-cleaning treatment to improve remaining algae staining and enhance the final appearance.
The treatment is particularly effective on many concrete surfaces and paving slabs. Its suitability will depend on the material and condition of the area being cleaned.

Frequently Asked Questions
How much does power washing cost?
Standalone power-washing jobs start from €285 + VAT. For existing customers, or where power washing is included as part of a larger package of work, smaller jobs may be available from €250 + VAT.
Does power washing remove weeds?
Power washing removes visible weeds and loose growth, but it does not reliably kill the roots. For heavily weeded block paving, we recommend weed treatment before cleaning. Base can carry out the weed spraying in advance as an additional service.
Can you re-sand block paving?
Yes. Where required, kiln-dried sand can be brushed into the joints after the paving has been cleaned and has dried completely.
Do you supply your own water?
We arrive with up to 2,000 litres of water available between the trailer and van. Where additional water is needed, we may connect to the customer’s outdoor water supply.
Booking & Payment
When are appointments available?
We arrange appointments in advance and work with customers to agree a date and arrival time that suits their availability.
Base operates an organised daily schedule, and we place a strong emphasis on arriving within the agreed appointment window. When your booking is confirmed, you will receive a clear appointment date and expected arrival time.
Some exterior cleaning work may need to be rescheduled during severe weather or unsafe working conditions. If this happens, we will contact you and arrange a suitable alternative date.

Our customer contact hours are:
Monday–Friday: 8:00am–8:00pm
Saturday: 8:00am–5:00pm

Messages received outside normal working hours may be answered the following day.

We can also take contactless payments, so you can simply tap your card or phone to pay.
Residential customers normally pay when the work has been completed. Payment arrangements for larger, recurring or commercial work will be confirmed in the quotation.
Do your prices include VAT?
Your quotation will clearly state the price and the applicable VAT. Please check the quotation before approving the work so you know the full amount payable.
When is payment due?
For most residential work, payment is due when the service has been completed. Different payment terms may apply to commercial, contract or account customers and will be stated in the quotation or invoice.
